Laura and Danny Bolger have acquired Romper Runway from the infamous “Double Named Girls”. While we lack the awesome moniker, the “Bolger’s” (how boring) are tremendously passionate about children and entrepreneurship. We hope to continue the wonderful tradition that the girls have established with Romper Runway, the Dallas-area’s most exclusive and sought-after children’s clothing consignment event.
The Bolger’s have recently celebrated the birth of their first child, Crosby. This might lead you to believe that they have limited experience with children’s clothing. Au contraire, Laura has obsessed over children’s clothing since the birth of her first niece. She has impressively managed to build a collection of wonderful apparel for Crosby, in a short 4 months of life, much more than his father has collected in his near 30. Cheers to Laura! Laura has a degree in early childhood development and taught pre-school for 5 years at a Dallas private school. She knows her kiddos! ;o)
As for Danny, he is experiencing more of a learning curve. His knowledge of children’s clothing consists of onesies, diapers, and “tiny little shoes”. However, he has a shared passion for little ones. He is currently coaching a 1st grade boys basketball team. He loves his Bulldogs! Separately, he has a passion for entrepreneurship. While he does maintain a day job in the salt mines, he is incredibly excited about maintaining, and trying his best to improve upon, the business model that DNG’s established.
The Bolger’s make no bones about it–they’re picky and proud of it! They intend to maintain the highest quality merchandise while providing anti-clutter consignors and budget-conscious moms an exceptional, hassle-free consigning and shopping experience.
